Dr. Picariello’s passion is to empower people to trust themselves and push beyond their comfort zone. Whether it's through one on one consultation, corporate training, or speaking to audiences, he helps people ENGAGE in change and harness it to achieve their goals.
Dr. Picariello has been a professional speaker since 2003 and delivered speeches and keynotes to audiences throughout the eastern United States. He has also led dozens of workshops, seminars, and symposiums on "performing in the moment," mindfulness, and helping individuals, management, and companies navigate their decision-making, identify work culture dynamics and explore readiness for change.
Dr. Picariello is a licensed Clinical Psychologist who owns and operates a private practice. With over 18 years of experience in a clinical setting, he is a graduate of La Salle University's APA accredited Clinical Psychology program. He specializes in cognitive-behavioral therapy with areas of expertise in health psychology, mindfulness principles and performance-enhancement.
Dr. Picariello obtained his Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Lehigh University, where he competed as an All-American football player. It was there he first developed his determination and persistent style that later transitioned to his energy and perseverance as a health care professional.
As a consultant Bob is skilled at helping businesses increase productivity and develop market share. He is also a subject matter expert on employee selection processes.
Bob was published for the successful implementation of a 7 step hiring process with a Fortune 100 company and was the keynote speaker on hiring practices at the annual conference for the Global Sales and Science Institute held in France.
Bob’s specialties include sales training, productivity and process development as well as proven leadership mechanisms to select, develop, and lead organizations.
Bob teaches marketing, sales, and sales management at Plymouth State University where he developed and now directs the Professional Sales Leadership Program. His students learn the marketing framework and sales cycle. Of the 4,158 colleges and universities in the United States, approximately 60 have a sales program.
Prior to becoming a professor, Bob was a senior manager for a Fortune 100 corporation and oversaw the New England Region. As a multiple time winner of their prestigious Manager of the Year award, he demonstrated a significant track record in developing sales teams, front line managers and operation managers.
